"I lift my voice and lower my pen for change hoping each word bleeds justice."

Tiffany “Ebony Eyze” Broadwater is a spoken word artist and writer who has used the drive within to make her dreams a reality. Growing up in Saint Albans, NY – home to jazz greats and hip-hop legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, A Tribe Called Quest and many more - inspired her to pursue music and the arts at the tender age of 9. Poetry was an escape that started on paper behind closed doors and moved to the stage. She studied various techniques from veteran and rising poets and authors. Ebony presents social issues through original monologues that push audiences to the edge and encourage listeners to reflect and build their own story. With creative producer Haz-Ali of Forthelovers Productions, she released her 2015 debut poetry album “Soul Intuition: Vol 1,” a blend of R&B and jazz with a message. In September 2019, Ebony joined forces with producer extraordinaire Live Johnson to work on her second EP “Soul Intuition: Vol 2” released July 2022. The album features the poetess’s new single “Plastic” which highlights one’s struggle with self-esteem. She has performed at many venues across New York including Nuyorican Poets Café, the Pyramid Club, African Poetry Theatre, Five Spot Soul Food and Social Butterfly. She has participated in former Village Voice columnist Mike Geffner’s Inspired Word series as well as college events. In April 2022, Ebony formed Atagia Entertainment LLC, a company focused on spreading social awareness through the Arts. Her endless dedication to projects that inspire and uplift communities is already turning heads.
